Star Wars Outlaws is a fun space adventure that doesn’t quite reach its potential

Star Wars Outlaws is a pulpy, Uncharted-style adventure that doesn't quite fulfil its potential. Kay and Nix lead a great cast through a well-paced, punchy story, but the game's Reputation system, and syndacite storyline in general feels undercooked.

  • Kay and Nix are excellent protagonists
  • Pre-rendered cutscenes are stunners, even if there aren't many
  • Great writing across the main narrative and side content
  • Exploring Tatooine is a joy
  • Reputation system is underbaked
  • Side content is repetitive, and doesn't offer great rewards
  • Consistent technical issues on PS5
