Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Collector’s Edition is now available at Walmart

The Collector’s Edition of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available to pre-order now at Walmart.

The $129 set can be ordered directly from Walmart now, though stock is expected to sell out quickly.

The Tears of the Kingdom Collector’s Edition includes a physical version of the game, an artbook with concept art, a Steelbook case, an Iconart steel poster and a set of four pin badges.

The game’s description reads: “In this sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, you’ll decide your own path through the sprawling landscapes of Hyrule and the mysterious islands floating in the vast skies above.

Update

At the time of writing, Walmart has now sold out.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - Collector's Edition

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom guides:

Master Sword location | How to increase inventory space | How to increase hearts and stamina  | How to get warm clothes | Wingsuit location | Hylian Shield location | Duplication glitch

“Can you harness the power of Link’s new abilities to fight back against the malevolent forces that threaten the kingdom?”

Nintendo has confirmed that the standard edition of the game will retail for $70. This marks the first time Nintendo has charged more than $59.99 for a standard edition of a digital Switch game.

It’s not yet clear whether retailers will honour existing $59.99 pre-orders, though Amazon tends to honour the lowest price a product reaches during its pre-order period.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (Switch)

In June 2021, following two years without any meaningful updates, Nintendo released a new Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 trailer and confirmed plans to release the game in 2022. It was later delayed to Spring 2023. It was finally given its official title, Tears of the Kingdom, late last year.

Nintendo has suggested that the tone of this game will be a little darker. Trailers certainly back that up with their eerie backwards music and creepy monsters.
