Zelda Tears of the Kingdom update fixes broken quests and lets players redeem items
The version 1.2.0 patch is available to download now
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has received a new update, bringing the game up to version 1.2.0.
The new patch, which is available to download now, adds fixes for a number of quests and side-quests, where some players have found themselves unable to progress beyond a certain point.
It also adds the ability to redeem items from the Switch News channel on the console’s Home menu, meaning there will likely be upcoming instances where players will be rewarded with the option to claim in-game items by reading official Nintendo news stories via their Switch.
Last week it was revealed that Tears of the Kingdom and the Switch dominated US games industry sales in May.
The game was also the fastest-selling Nintendo game for any system in Europe and the Americas, selling 10 million copies worldwide in its first three days alone.
