Yakuza Remastered Collection announced for PS4
Yakuza 3 out now, Yakuza 4 and Yakuza 5 to unlock at later dates
Sega has announced Yakuza Remastered Collection, a PS4 bundle arriving in stages, starting today with the release of Yakuza 3 on the PlayStation Store.
Priced at $59.99 / £49.99, the package includes Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4 and Yakuza 5 – previously only available on PS3 – upgraded from 720p at 30fps to 1080p at 60fps.
Yakuza 4 will unlock automatically for buyers on October 29, 2019, and Yakuza 5 will unlock on February 11, 2020.
The English scripts for the games have been revised and the release includes content not previously available in the original Western releases. In Yakuza 3’s case, this includes mahjong, shogi and cabaret minigames.
Additionally, a “very limited physical run” of The Yakuza Remastered Collection: Day One Edition is also available to pre-order now ahead of its release on February 11, 2020.
