Xbox live stream: How to watch today’s Games Showcase featuring Halo
Halo and more to be shown on Xbox live stream
Today’s Xbox live stream for the platform’s Series X Games Showcase starts at 9am PT / 5pm BST – and you can watch the event via the video on this page.
The Showcase will focus primarily on Series X games being developed by Xbox Game Studios but will also confirm additional titles coming from third-party publishers. However, Xbox has said the event will not include any “business, devices or similar news.”
Xbox will premiere the first Halo Infinite gameplay during the event, with the 343 shooter set to launch alongside Xbox Series X during the 2020 holiday season.
A one-hour pre-show hosted by gaming personality Geoff Keighley will start at 8am PT / 4pm BST, which will include some reveals from Xbox “partners”. A FIFA 21 gameplay reveal trailer is scheduled to go live during this section.
After the Xbox live stream at around 10am PT / 6pm BST, Keighley will then host a post-stream featuring relevant developers. You can watch both pre- and post-show streams via the video embed below.
Microsoft has said Xbox Series X will have “the largest launch line-up for any console ever” when it hits stores this fall.
The claim was made by Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella during the company’s fourth quarter earnings call on Wednesday.
Microsoft said in May that Xbox Series X already plays thousands of games thanks to its backwards compatibility support.
