Xbox is seemingly teasing Death Stranding for PC Game Pass

The Twitter account for Xbox PC Game Pass has seemingly hinted that PlayStation console exclusive Death Stranding is coming to its service.

On Tuesday the profile picture of the PC Game Pass account was changed, along with a cryptic message, which fans quickly noticed matches a landscape shot that can be seen in Death Stranding.

While the PC version is published by 505, this wouldn’t be the first time a PlayStation Studio title has appeared on its rival service. PlayStation’s own San Diego Studio released MLB The Show 22 on Xbox Game Pass in April.

Death Stranding’s director Hideo Kojima recently shared on Twitter that he has started editing a trailer close to Gamescom 2022, where Geoff Keighley, who frequently partners with Kojima on announcements for his games, is producing Gamescom Opening Night Live this year.

Xbox Game Studios announced a new partnership with Kojima Productions back in June, where the studio will create a video game for Xbox ‘like no one has ever experienced or seen before’, leveraging the power of the cloud.

”With Microsoft’s cutting edge cloud technology and the change in the industry’s trend, it has now become possible to challenge myself to to make this never-before-seen concept,” Kojima said.

“It may take some time, but I’m looking forward to teaming up with Xbox Game Studios and hope to bring you some exciting news in the future.”
