Xbox Game Pass July includes Gears 5 tech test
Plus Middle-earth: Shadow of War, Dead Rising 4 and more
Microsoft has announced eight upcoming additions to the Xbox Game Pass catalogue, while confirming subscribers will also receive automatic access to the upcoming Gears 5 tech test.
The tech test for the Gears 5 versus multiplayer mode will be available to download from July 17 with online play active from July 19.
New games set to be added to Game Pass this month include Middle-earth: Shadow of War, Dead Rising 4 and Lego City Undercover, while titles leaving the subscription service include Lego Movie: The Videogame, Dead Rising 2 and Hitman Season 1.

The recently launched Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, which combines Xbox Live Gold membership with Xbox Game Pass for console and PC, can currently be sampled for $1/£1 for the first month.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be able to play Gears 5 four days before its September 10, 2019 release date.
