Xbox Game Pass adding Gears Tactics, The Long Dark and more in April

Microsoft has announced the next wave of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass, including Gears Tactics for PC and The Long Dark for PC and console.

On PC, The Long Dark will join the subscription service’s library on April 16, ahead of Gato Roboto on April 21, Deliver Us The Moon on April 23, Gears Tactics on April 28, and HyperDot and Levelhead on April 30, while Microsoft says Machinarium is “coming soon”.

On Xbox One, The Long Dark will also join the service on April 16, followed by Gato Roboto on April 21, Deliver Us The Moon on April 23, and HyperDot and Levelhead on April 30.

Game Pass titles released earlier in April include Football Manager 2020 for PC and Journey to the Savage Planet for console.

The following titles will leave Game Pass on April 30:

• The Banner Saga 2 (console and PC)
• Bomber Crew (console and PC)
• Braid (console)
• Fallout 4 (console)
• Full Metal Furies (console and PC)
• Metal Slug 3 (console)
• Ruiner (console and PC)
• Silence: The Whispered World 2 (console and PC)
• Smoke and Sacrifice (console and PC)
• Wolfenstein: The New Order (console)

Microsoft said in late March that Xbox Live and Game Pass have seen record usage as citizens across the globe practice social distancing to help combat the spread of the coronavirus.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate combines Xbox Live Gold membership with Xbox Game Pass for console and PC.

April’s Xbox Live Games with Gold titles are Project Cars 2, Knights of Pen and Paper Bundle, Fable Anniversary and Toybox Turbos.
