Xbox confirms it will hold an Age of Empires live stream next month
New gameplay and details for Age of Empires 4 to be shared in 30-minute event
Xbox will hold a half-hour live stream event dedicated to Age of Empires next month.
The Age of Empires fan preview will take place on Saturday, April 10 and offer a new look at Age of Empires IV gameplay, including details on civilizations and the game’s campaign. The strategy game is in development at Relic and World’s Edge, a new studio dedicated to the Age of Empires series.
Xbox will also be sharing news for Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition and Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition players too, it said.
“Since the first Age of Empires game launched more than 20 years ago, the franchise has brought together players all over the world with the love of real-time strategy,” wrote World’s Edge’s Emma Bridle.
“And with the Definitive Editions in the hands of players, there’s a new era on the horizon. Our community is what has kept this amazing franchise alive and evolving for more than two decades and now it’s time to celebrate with an event built for YOU.”
The event will start at 9 am PT / 5 pm GMT on April 10 and will be hosted on AgeofEmpires.com, Twitch, Facebook Live, and the Xbox YouTube channel.
