Xbox and Twitch are hosting a second indie games showcase next week.
The streaming event, which will take place on Twitch on Tuesday, August 10, promises to show a large number of upcoming indie titles coming to Xbox through the ID@Xbox programme.
“During this showcase, we’ll once again feature tons of independent titles, including brand new game announcements from developers and publishers such as Rebellion, Chump Squad, and others,” the announcement on the official Xbox Wire blog reads.
“Fans will also get a chance to see the latest and hear from teams working on The Artful Escape, OlliOlli World, Library of Ruina, and RPG Time to name a few – and of course, an ID@Xbox show wouldn’t be complete without some Xbox Game Pass news and announcements.”
The stream begins on August 10 at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm UK time, and can be watched on either the Twitch Gaming channel or the Xbox Twitch channel.
the ID@Xbox programme lets qualified game developers of all sizes self-publish digital games on Xbox and Windows 10, or add Xbox Live to iOS and Android games.
The first indie showcase event by Xbox and Twitch took place in March and showed off over 100 games.
It included new trailers and gameplay for over 25 of these titles such as Second Extinction, The Ascent, The Wild at Heart, Voidtrain, and Exo One, plus an update on Stalker 2.
It also featured brand new game announcements from developers and publishers including DrinkBox Studios, Curve Digital, Devolver Digital, and Dear Villagers.
