Xbox and Ikea are teasing a furniture collaboration
A teaser video shows what appears to be a cushion and a stool

Xbox and Ikea appear to be teasing a furniture collaboration.
A brief teaser video was posted on the official Instagram accounts for both Ikea and Xbox, showing close-ups of Xbox-themed furniture.
The video shows a short glimpse at what appears to be a green cushion shaped like either an ‘X’ or a D-Pad.
It also shows what seems to be a stool or table shaped like an Xbox analogue stick, with a glossy finish around the trim.
Reports have been claiming that the full reveal will come at Gamescom, but there’s currently nothing official to confirm this – these reports appear to come from a seemingly AI-generated image showing the products on display in a showroom floor with a message saying “official reveal at Gamescom”.
The image shows a D-Pad Cushion with a different design to the one in the video, as well as the “Analog Stick Stand”, which also looks nothing like the product teased in the video. The image also has other telltale signs of AI generation, suggesting that while the collaboration is indeed real, the image currently doing the rounds online (including the Gamescom confirmation) is not.

This wouldn’t be the first time Xbox has dabbled with homeware products, the most notable example being the Xbox fridge.
Xbox Series X fridges were a running joke ever since the console was first revealed in December 2019, which led to various memes comparing its unique design to that of a refrigerator.
Responding to the memes, Microsoft made real, full-sized Series X fridges in October 2020, sending them to influencers and celebrities. In March 2021, Microsoft resurrected the meme by producing some Series X mini fridges as a promotional tie-in with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s new energy drink brand ZOA.
After fans asked how they could get their own mini fridge, Xbox said they were only being made for promotional purposes, but later changed its mind when it confirmed plans to start producing and selling the mini fridges.
A toaster shaped like an Xbox Series S was also released in 2024, which burns the Xbox logo onto the bread.
