The Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase has been confirmed for June
It promises “amazing titles coming from Xbox, Bethesda, and our partners around the world”
Microsoft has confirmed plans to host its E3-style Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase event on Sunday, June 12.
“This show will feature amazing titles coming from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda, and our partners around the world,” it said on Thursday.
“The Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase will include everything you need to know about the diverse lineup of games coming soon to the Xbox ecosystem, including upcoming releases to Game Pass on Xbox and PC.”
The event will start at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST and will be streamed in over 30 languages on the likes of YouTube, Twitch and Facebook.
Microsoft held its previous E3-style showcase alongside newly-acquired Bethesda in June 2021.
While E3 2022 has been cancelled, The Game Awards founder Geoff Keighley has confirmed his digital event Summer Game Fest will take place as planned this year, likely in June.
Starfield appeared during last year’s Xbox and Bethesda Showcase, marking the first time it had been shown since its announcement in 2018.
Game director Todd Howard said in November that Bethesda could be expected to offer the next major Starfield reveal this summer ahead of the game’s late 2022 release.
Other first-party games that could be shown at June’s Xbox showcase include Ninja Theory’s Hellblade 2, Obsidian’s The Outer Worlds 2 and Avowed, Rare’s Everwild, The Initiative’s Perfect Dark, Arkane’s Redfall, Undead Labs’ State of Decay 3 and Turn 10’s Forza Motorsport 8.
