The event begins at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT

Microsoft is celebrating Xbox’s 20th anniversary today with a special digital broadcast, which you’ll be able to watch here live.

While the company has said it won’t announce any games during Monday’s event, it has urged fans to tune in for “a special look back at 20 years of Xbox” – and some surprises are expected too.

Xbox is being heavily tipped to announce a surprise early launch for Halo Infinite’s multiplayer component during today’s digital broadcast.

And the company may also be set to confirm new and improved backward compatibility for a selection of Xbox games.

The show will start at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT and you can watch it on the official Xbox channel on Twitch, Facebook or YouTube (including the video embedded at the top of this page).

In a GQ profile published to coincide with today’s anniversary, Microsoft’s head of gaming Phil Spencer reiterated that The Elder Scrolls 6 will be an Xbox console exclusive when it eventually releases, and said the company is encouraging him to think about a succession plan.

Sarah Bond, Microsoft’s head of gaming ecosystems, also revealed that the Xbox Game Pass project was originally envisioned as a rental service for games.

Subtitles for today’s broadcast will be available in German, French, BR Portuguese, LATAM Spanish, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified), Castilian Spanish, Italian, Korean, Polish, Russian, Arabic, Chinese (Traditional), Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Malay, Norwegian, Persian (Farsi), Portuguese (EU), Slovak, Swedish, Turkish, and Vietnamese.

It will also be viewable with American Sign Language (ASL) and audio descriptions (AD) in English on the official Xbox YouTube channel.
