Witcher 3 owners can claim another copy free via GOG
Offer available to PC and console owners for one week
CD Projekt is offering The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt owners another copy of the game free via its GOG Galaxy PC client.
The offer is open to players who already have the console or PC version of the RPG, which celebrated its fifth birthday in May and has sold some 30 million copies.
The GOG Galaxy app lets you unite multiple software libraries into one, connect with your friends across all gaming platforms, and launch PC titles, among other features.
To claim a free GOG copy, you need to connect the platform where you own The Witcher 3 with GOG Galaxy, which will import the progress you’ve already made in the game such as achievements.
The GOG version features exclusive digital bonuses including an extended soundtrack and comic book The Witcher: House of Glass. The offer runs until June 23.
CD Projekt recently overtook Ubisoft to become Europe’s most valuable video game company.
The Polish firm will hold a Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire stream on June 25, providing a new look at the much-anticipated open-world game ahead of this September’s release date.
CD Projekt will work on a new The Witcher game after Cyberpunk 2077 is completed, president Adam Kiciński said in March.
