What is Walmart+ and what are the membership benefits?

The Walmart+ membership program offers users a combination of in-store and online benefits designed save repeat customers money and time.

Launched in September 2020, a Walmart+ membership costs $98 a year or $12.95 a month and includes a 15-day free trial period.

The service offers free delivery ($35 minimum order, check availability) on up to 180,000 items including groceries and gadgets, and free next-day and two-day shipping on items shipped by Walmart (excludes oversized and freight items, as well as third-party sellers).

In stores, Walmart+ members can scan their own products for a streamlined, contact-free checkout experience, among other benefits.

Walmart+ also offers selected prescriptions for free and savings of up to 85% on thousands more, available at over 4,000 Walmart pharmacies (check availability).

Members save 5¢ per gallon on fuel at over 2,000 Walmart and Murphy stations and get member prices at Sam’s Club fuel centers too (find participating stations).

Perks also include early access to online offers including Walmart’s Black Friday deals, plus early access to sought-after products like PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles when they’re available.
