Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League were announced in last year’s debut DC Fandome event, which took place in August 2020, with neither project having been shown publicly since.
UPDATE: Warner Bros. has released a teaser for Gotham Knights:
ORIGINAL STORY CONTINUES: Developed by WB Games Montreal, the studio behind 2013’s Batman Arkham Origins, Gotham Knights was originally due to release this year but was officially delayed into 2022 in March.
Gotham Knights is playable either in solo or two-player co-op and will release for PC, as well as PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
The game sees players controlling one of four superhero characters – Nightwing, Robin, Red Hood, and Batgirl – following the death of Bruce Wayne.
Meanwhile, Suicide Squad is a new superhero game from Arkham Knight studio Rocksteady described as “a new genre-bending action-adventure shooter” that can be played solo or with up to four players in online co-op.
The story follows Suicide Squad members – and playable characters – Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark who must take on an impossible mission to save Earth and kill the world’s greatest DC Super Heroes, The Justice League.
Rocksteady hasn’t released a game since 2015’s Batman: Arkham Knight and 2016’s Batman: Arkham VR.
