Watch the first trailer for PS5 horror game Quantum Error

Cosmic-horror FPS, Quantum Error is the latest publicly revealed title in development for PS5.

The game, which is also in development for PlayStation 4, is the work of American game studio TeamKill Media, which released its debut game in 2018.

The first Quantum Error trailer was released on Saturday and according to TeamKill, “all footage [is] generated in engine, is a WIP and does not represent the final game or gameplay.”

In 2018 TeamKill released its debut game Kings of Lorn: The Fall of Ebris, a roguelike RPG for Steam and PS4 which has a Metacritic score of 79.

VGC network partner Eurogamer said of the game back in 2018: “If you’re a fan of tabletop RPGs and have a couple of sadistic pals to keep you company, it’s a Kraken little game that’s sure to delight – and dismay – in equal measures.”

Quantum Error joins Gearbox and Counterplay Games’ fantasy “looter-slasher” Godfall on the list of third-party games officially confirmed for PlayStation 5.

A Sony spokesperson said on Friday that the company “doesn’t see any notable impact” on the launch of PlayStation 5 planned at the end of this year, despite disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
