BlizzCon 2021 kicks off on Friday and you can watch the opening ceremony live via the YouTube video embedded on this page.
BlizzConline, as the free to view event is officially titled, begins at 2pm PT/5pm ET/10pm UK on February 19 with a 60-minute opening ceremony.
According to Blizzard, it will provide “a first look at some of the latest game content now in development”, which is expected to feature World of Warcraft, Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2.
On Thursday, World of Warcraft Burning Crusade Classic leaked ahead of BlizzCon, as did World of Warcraft: Shadowlands’ first major content update, Chains of Domination.
Burning Crusade Classic, Blizzard’s recreation of the first World of Warcraft expansion, will launch in 2021, according to official press kits reportedly accidently released ahead of schedule.
After BlizzCon’s opening ceremony, viewers will be able to choose between six different themed channels, each offering over three hours of content digging deeper into various Blizzard games.
The event will recommence at 12pm PT/3pm ET/8pm UK on February 20, with multiple channels once again available. Day two will include Q&As with Blizzard developers and community-focused content such as cosplay and art competitions.
Activision Blizzard confirmed earlier this month that both Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4 will not launch until at least 2022.
It also announced that multiple free-to-play Warcraft mobile games are deep in development.
BlizzCon is traditionally held at the Anaheim Convention Center in California each November, but 2020’s event was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
