Watch Dogs Legion’s Bloodline expansion brings back Aiden Pearce and Wrench in July
The stars of Watch Dogs 1 and 2 will feature in the DLC out next month
Ubisoft has revealed that its upcoming expansion for Watch Dogs Legion, which will bring back fan favourite characters from the previous two Watch Dogs games, will be released on July 6.
Watch Dogs Legion: Bloodline will see the return of Aiden Pearce – the protagonist in the first Watch Dogs – and Wrench, the masked DedSec affiliated hacker from Watch Dogs 2.
“Set before the events of the main game, Aiden Pearce leaves Chicago for London where he will take over a contract and reunite with Wrench and his nephew Jackson”, reads Ubisoft’s description for the expansion.
“Caught between a powerful military robotics corporation and a returning DedSec member with an opposing agenda, Aiden must rely on his grit and experience to navigate a hostile city, try to outmanoeuvre his enemies, and keep his family intact.”
Bloodline will be available on July 6 and is included in the Watch Dogs Legion Season Pass.
Earlier this month, Ubisoft also announced a new zombies survival mode for Watch Dogs Legion.
Developed by the same team as the main game, Watch Dogs: Legion of the Dead was made available to PC players as part of an alpha test, with plans to add players on other platforms closer to the beta phase, according to an FAQ published last week.
“In a London filled with zombies, Albion soldiers and Clan Kelley enforcers are hoarding valuable supplies that you must get your hands on to ensure the survival of your crew,” Ubisoft says.
“No matter if you are going in solo, with friends or up to 3 other players via public matchmaking, you will have to be smart with your resources, your tactics and plan ahead to gather supplies, find power-ups and extract from London alive.”
