Watch Dogs 3 set in ‘post-Brexit London’
Legion appears on Amazon listing
Watch Dogs Legion is the third game in Ubisoft’s open-world series, set in a “post-Brexit” London altered by technology and politics.
[UPDATE June 5, 19: Ubisoft has confirmed plans to announced Watch Dogs Legion at E3 2019]
The game will allow players to control any individual they meet in the game world, with their own unique character traits and design.
The details appeared first via an Amazon listing on Monday, which VGC understands to be legitimate. Ubisoft was unavailable for comment at the time of publish.

The listing, since deleted, read: “Watch_Dogs Legion is set in a near-future, dystopian version of London. It’s a post-Brexit world in which society, politics and technology have changed and altered London’s fortunes.
“London is one of the most iconic cities in the world and has had a massive influence on all of Western Culture for centuries… London makes total sense for WD, as the city has one of the highest surveillance levels in the world making this the perfect playground.”
Watch Dogs 3’s London setting was hinted at in a post-release Watch Dogs 2 patch, which expanded the game’s ending and included references to the Brixton area of the city.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot recently confirmed the publisher has three ‘triple-A’ titles still to be announced for this fiscal year, ending March 31, 2020.
Ubisoft’s E3 2019 press conference will take place on Monday June 10.
