WarioWare: Get It Together offers two-player WarioWare for the first time
Players directly control WarioWare characters and can play in co-op
A new game in the WarioWare series has been announced for Nintendo Switch.
WarioWare: Get it Together is the ninth title in the series, and will feature two-player co-op mode for the first time.
Get it Together contains 200 new microgames, all of which have to be cleared as quickly as possible.
Whereas previous WarioWare games had players interacting directly with the objects in each microgame, this time players control characters from the WarioWare series as they perform various tasks.
Microgames shown in the game’s trailer have players performing such tasks as squeezing toothpaste onto a toothbrush, peeling a facemask off someone’s face, dodging bird poo, unplugging a plug from a sink and spinning a windmill.
As ever, there are also nods to retro games, this time including Super Mario Land.
The game is scheduled for release on September 10. You can see a gallery of screenshots (via Nintendo) below.
