Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct stream announced for November
“You won’t want to miss a moment – or a single surprise,” Blizzard teases
Blizzard Entertainment has announced a Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct stream.
Taking place on November 13, it’s billed as an “online celebration across World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, and Warcraft Rumble”.
Viewable on Twitch, YouTube and TikTok, the presentation will start at 10am PT / 6pm GMT.
“It’s a big year for the Warcraft universe and whether you’re a Hearthstone fan, you’ve joined the chaos in Warcraft Rumble, ventured into the world of Azeroth for the first time in Warcraft: Orcs and Humans, or you’re a World of Warcraft player, there’s something for everyone in our Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct stream,” Blizzard said. “You won’t want to miss a moment – or a single surprise.”
The stream will be followed by a World of Warcraft 20th anniversary concert broadcast.
World of Warcraft’s latest expansion, The War Within, launched in August.
The War Within is the first of three World of Warcraft expansions announced at last year’s BlizzCon.
The Worldsoul Saga, which is described as an “epic story that celebrates the first 20 years of World of Warcraft and sets new foundations for Azeroth’s future”, will comprise of The War Within, Midnight and The Last Titan.
Warcraft franchise general manager and SVP John Hight resigned from Blizzard this summer after more than a decade with the company.
