Warcraft 2 Remastered has seemingly leaked
The game could be announced during a Warcraft 30th anniversary stream next week
A remastered version of Warcraft 2 has seemingly leaked ahead of an official reveal.
According to Wowhead, images and logos for Warcraft 2 Remastered currently circulating online originate from Blizzard’s internal servers.
They were reportedly included in an update to Blizzard’s content delivery network which also referenced a ‘Warcraft II: Remastered Internal Alpha’.

Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness is a fantasy real-time strategy game originally released for PC and Mac in 1995.
It was also released for the original PlayStation and Sega Saturn in 1997, in the form of a new edition which included the game’s 1996’s expansion, Beyond the Dark Portal.
If Blizzard is preparing to announce Warcraft 2 Remastered, it could do so during a special anniversary stream next week.
Taking place on November 13, the Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct presentation is billed as an “online celebration across World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, and Warcraft Rumble”.
The stream will be followed by a World of Warcraft 20th anniversary concert broadcast.
World of Warcraft’s latest expansion, The War Within, launched in August. It’s the first of three World of Warcraft expansions announced at last year’s BlizzCon.
