Walmart will be selling new PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles ahead of Black Friday
They’ll be available online only beginning on November 25
Walmart will be offering PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles for sale online ahead of Black Friday.
The retailer will be selling limited quantities of the new consoles beginning at 9pm ET/6pm PT on Wednesday, November 25.
You’ll be able to purchase the consoles through the following links while supplies last.

- PlayStation 5 Digital Edition console – $399
- Xbox Series X console – $499
- Xbox Series S console – $299
A flyer advertising its Black Friday deals confirms that Walmart stores will be closed on Thanksgiving (November 26), with more offers available online and in stores on Black Friday (November 27).
Walmart will also be offering PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles for sale online on November 19.
GameStop’s Black Friday advert recently confirmed it will have limited PS5 and Xbox Series X/S stock available in-stores only on November 27.
UPDATE 20/11/20: UK retailers are expected to receive new PS5 stock from Sony during Black Friday week, while Xbox Series X stock is expected to be made available to purchase online at UK retailers on Saturday, November 21, and then again on Black Friday.
ORIGINAL STORY CONTINUES: Amazon confirmed today that it will be taking new PS5 orders in Europe on launch day, which is November 19.
And in the UK, retailer Game will also be taking limited PS5 console orders online only this Thursday.
Xbox’s chief financial officer recently said Microsoft expects Xbox Series X/S supply shortages to continue until April 2021.
Xbox Series X and PS5 scalpers are currently seeking to cash in on heavy demand for the new consoles by selling them at extortionate prices on marketplaces like eBay.
