We’ve recorded some exclusive co-op gameplay footage
Super Mario Bros Wonder is less than a month away now, and we’ve got some footage of the game in action.
We’ve recorded some co-op footage showing Mario and Daisy playing together, including a look at some of the new power-ups.

Super Mario Bros Wonder, which was revealed during a Nintendo Direct presentation in June, will be released on October 20.
The game will be the first original 2D Mario side-scrolling game in over a decade.
Its main new gimmick is the Wonder Flower, which transforms each stage in a different way.
“When you touch a Wonder Flower in the game, the wonders of the world unlock – pipes could come alive, hordes of enemies may appear, characters might change their looks, for example – transforming the gameplay in unpredictable ways. Excitement and different surprises await in each course,” reads Nintendo‘s description of the game.
One thing the game won’t feature, however, is the voice of Charles Martinet, who has been voicing Mario since the mid ’90s.
Martinet has been retired from the role and now serves as Nintendo’s ‘Mario Ambassador’, which involves travelling to events and meeting fans.
The last completely original 2D Mario game was 2012’s New Super Mario Bros U. It was ported to Switch in 2019 as New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe.
