Sega Japan has released the first dedicated trailer for Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 – The Official Video Game.
The video confirms that the licensed game will feature 15 playable events, customisable avatars, various multiplayer offerings and a single-player training mode.
Events – which will all be playable online – include baseball, basketball, table tennis, soccer, beach volleyball, BMX, boxing and more.
The game will be released on July 24 in Japan for PS4 and Nintendo Switch. In the West, it will also be released for Xbox One and PC.
Sega is planning multiple titles to coincide with the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
In addition to The Official Video Game, the firm will release Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 (Switch), Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 (iOS /Android), and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 Arcade Edition.
