Until Dawn developer’s latest horror game Little Hope has a release date
Second Dark Pictures Anthology title arriving in October
Bandai Namco has announced an October 30 release date for Little Hope, the second entry in Until Dawn developer Supermassive Games’ Dark Pictures Anthology.
The anthology is a series of standalone, branching cinematic horror games which kicked off with August 2019’s Man of Medan.
Each title is unconnected and features a new story, setting and cast of characters.
Originally due for release this summer for PS4, Xbox One and PC, the delayed second instalment sees four college students and their professor pursued by nightmarish visions as they attempt to escape the deserted town of Little Hope.
Each of the Dark Pictures games includes two multiplayer modes. Shared Story lets you play cooperatively with a friend online, while Movie Night lets up to five users play together offline in pass-the-pad mode.
“We’ve been delighted by the reaction from players and the success of Man of Medan as the first instalment of the Dark Pictures Anthology,” Supermassive CEO Pete Samuels said in February.
“We really appreciate feedback from the community and the team remains committed to the goal of making each new instalment deliver further thrilling horror experiences, with the next chapter, Little Hope, bringing an all new and disturbing horror story to the anthology.”
