Universal has shown the first images of Super Nintendo World Orlando

The first images of the Orlando version of Super Nintendo World have been shared.

As posted on the official Nintendo of America X account and shared in a YouTube video posted by Universal, the images show the park’s entrance at the Universal Epic Universe resort.

Universal Epic Universe is an entirely new theme park set to open in Summer 2025, and will be the fourth theme park at Universal Orlando (along with Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Volcano Bay).

Epic Universe will consist of five separate themed worlds, one of which is Super Nintendo World.

It will be joined by The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic, How to Train Your Dragon: Island of Berk, Celestial Park and Dark Universe.

Universal Creative president Molly Murphy shows the world in a new video, saying: “We’ll have Super Nintendo World, where you can jump into the action and step into the world of Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and Donkey Kong.

“You’ll arrive in the most interactive, colourful world we’ve ever created.”

Based on the concept photos and Murphy’s comments, the Orlando version of Super Nintendo World looks set to include the extra Donkey Kong area on the day it opens.

The first version of Super Nintendo World opened in Universal Studios Japan in March 2021, with a second version opening at Universal Studios Hollywood in February 2023. Another is planned for Universal Studios Singapore.
