Uncharted movie gets final pre-release trailer as Legacy of Thieves Collection arrives
Movie swings into cinemas next month; PS5 remasters out today
Sony has released the final Uncharted movie trailer ahead of the film’s arrival next month.
Rather than following the plot of the games, the film tells a prequel story featuring Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) as a young treasure hunter learning from his mentor Victor Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg).
Following a six-month delay, the Uncharted movie is scheduled to hit UK cinemas on February 11 and US theatres one week later. Here’s the final pre-release trailer:
The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection was released for PS5 today and is coming to PC later this year. Priced at $49.99 / £44.99 / €49.99, it contains remasters of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and its standalone expansion The Lost Legacy.
Owners of Uncharted 4, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy or the digital bundle containing both games will be able to upgrade to the PS5 release for $10 / £10 / €10 at launch and carry over their save data and trophies.
Until February 3, players in the UK, US, Australia and New Zealand who purchase or upgrade to Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection via PlayStation Store will receive a voucher code for one standard ticket to see the Uncharted movie at participating cinemas.
VGC’s Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection review said “Naughty Dog’s first outing on the PlayStation 5 is an incredibly strong one, and only makes us even more excited for what it has coming next, and what it will be able to do with this technology.”
Ahead of the collection’s release, Lost Legacy creative director Shaun Escayg said Naughty Dog hasn’t ruled out making more Uncharted games.
