Ubisoft’s renamed Gods & Monsters has seemingly been revealed

Immortals: Fenyx Rising looks likely to be the new name for Ubisoft’s Gods & Monsters.

As reported by Gematsu, the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee has rated “Immortals: Fenyx Rising” by Ubisoft for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.

Fenyx is the name of the lead protagonist in the fantasy game, which was first unveiled at E3 2019.

Following the brief accidental appearance of a game build on Stadia this summer, Ubisoft confirmed it would show its next look at Gods and Monsters this summer, and that it had changed the game’s name.

Gods & Monsters will be renamed.

Developed by Assassin’s Creed Odyssey studio Ubisoft Quebec, it’s described as “a storybook adventure about a forgotten hero on a quest to save the Greek gods”.

“Prove your heroism by fighting dangerous mythological creatures and taking on their fearsome leader in a face-off for the ages,” Ubisoft says.

“Explore a beautiful fantasy world where tricky trials, treacherous dungeons, and heroic feats await. The journey will be as challenging and rewarding as the final destination, and you will emerge as the hero you are meant to become.”

Publisher Ubisoft is set to hold its second Ubisoft Forward digital games showcase in September.
