Ubisoft reveals its Gamescom 2019 line-up

Including Ghost Recon Breakpoint demo, new Rainbow Six Siege content

Ubisoft has detailed its plans for Gamescom 2019, which kicks off on Monday August 19.

On that day, it will be one of 15 publishers to premiere content and make announcements during a new livestreamed event called Gamescom: Opening Night Live.

From Wednesday August 21, Ubisoft’s Gamescom booth will offer attendees the chance to play Ghost Recon Breakpoint, content from the upcoming season of Rainbow Six Siege, and Roller Champions.

There’ll be a live theatre gameplay demo of Watch Dogs Legion, while new Just Dance 2020, Trials Rising and Brawlhalla content will be shown at the Ubisoft booth stage.

Cologne’s DOCK.ONE will also host the Rainbow Six German national finals from August 22-23.

“Gamescom is a celebration of games and gamers that Ubisoft is always happy to be a part of,” said Ubisoft EMEA executive director Alain Corre. “This year, players will have the opportunity to interact with our teams and get a first look into the future of technologies such as streaming and the impact they will have on our industry.”

Nintendo, Microsoft Sega, Square Enix and Google have all detailed Gamescom 2019 plans in recent weeks, while EA will reveal its new Need for Speed game “heading into” the show.
