Ubisoft is set to reveal The Crew 3 on Tuesday

Ubisoft has indicated that it plans to announce The Crew 3 on Tuesday.

“Tomorrow. 5pm UTC/9am PST,” the Crew 2 Twitter account posted multiple times on Monday, in response to a series of historic messages asking when The Crew 3 will be announced.

The confirmation of an imminent reveal follows a series of leaks that have seemingly revealed details about the game ahead of its official announcement.

‘Project Orlando’ images seemingly leaked in late 2021, when it was claimed that the open-world sequel was being built with a new engine and would be set in Hawaii.

At the time, it was reported that the project was originally planned as DLC for The Crew 2 before being spun into its own game.

@ScriptLeaksR6, a dataminer with has a history of Rainbow 6 and Assassin’s Creed leaks, claimed last week that “Project Orlando is named The Crew Motorfest.”

The first entry in the series, The Crew, was released in 2014, and was followed by The Crew 2 in 2018. The sequel is still being supported with seasonal content. Season 7 Episode 2: Blizzard Rush launched in January for PC and consoles.

Ubisoft claimed in June 2021 that the series had attracted over 30 million players since launch.

During its fiscal year starting in April and running until March 2024, Ubisoft is planning to release Skull & Bones, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, “and other yet-to-be-announced premium games, including a large one, as well as promising free-to-play titles for some of our biggest brands”.
