Ubisoft has released a Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown demo

Ubisoft has released a demo for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown on consoles and PC.

The demo includes “carefully selected sections” from the game, according to Ubisoft, with early unlocks of time powers and amulets, to show the main gameplay features while not spoiling the story.

The demo is available digitally on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One as well as Windows PC through the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store.

The Lost Crown, which releases on January 18, is a side-scrolling 2.5D adventure, providing a similar viewpoint to the original game.

Players control Sargon, a young, gifted warrior, and member of an elite group called The Immortals. As they are sent to rescue Prince Ghassan, they will explore Mount Qaf, a once wondrous place, now cursed and hostile.

VGC published our Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown review earlier today.

“Prince of Persia was long in need of a resurrection, and in The Lost Crown, it’s found it. Excellent platforming, clever puzzles and a huge map make one of the best Metroidvania’s in years, and kicks off 2024 in style.”
