Two Point Campus hits PC, consoles and Xbox Game Pass in May
Sega confirms release date for the university-building sim
Two Point Campus will be released on May 17, 2022, and day one for Game Pass on console and PC, publisher Sega has announced.
The game will be available for Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.
The university-building sim will also be released on Xbox Game Pass for console and PC Game Pass on day one.
Two Point Campus was officially announced last June, shortly after it leaked via the Microsoft Store.
Players will be in charge of developing campus grounds, buildings and surroundings, and will be able to lay down the likes of dorms, pathways and hedgerows to plan the basic layout.
Students can take part in a variety of courses, which are suitably silly in keeping with the comedic theme of the game’s predecessor Two Point Hospital.
These include Knight School, where students learn jousting and chivalry, and Gastronomy, where they learn how to make enormous pizzas.
Players also have to keep their students happy by making sure they have plenty of friends and attend extracurricular events like gigs, sports games and societies.
Two Point Studios‘ first game, Two Point Hospital, was a spiritual successor to classic simulation title Theme Hospital.
Created by Bullfrog and Lionhead alumni Gary Carr, Mark Webley and Ben Hymers, it was released for PC in August 2018.
Sega acquired Two Point Studios in May 2019.
