Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 are coming to Steam next week
Activision’s remake has been available for PC since 2020 via the Epic Games Store
Activision will finally release Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 on Steam next week.
The game is now available to wishlist on Valve’s PC marketplace ahead of its release on October 3.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 was originally released in September 2020 for PS4, Xbox One and PC via the Epic Games Store, and it became the fastest entry in the series to sell one million copies, according to its publisher.
The game was then released for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in March 2021, a few months before it arrived on Switch.

VGC’s Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 review said developer Vicarious Visions delivered a superb remake of two iconic games.
“The original Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater and its sequel are two absolute classics that deserve to be treated with reverence and respect,” critic Chris Scullion wrote. “This new remake does exactly that, preserving what made them so enormously satisfying to play while making them look infinitely better than they ever have, all while ensuring that none of modern gaming’s more problematic trappings are allowed to infiltrate the purity of this wonderful time capsule.”
Activision Blizzard announced in January 2021 that Vicarious Visions, which also developed Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, had been folded into Blizzard.
Tony Hawk claimed last year that a planned Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4 remake was canned after Activision Blizzard decided to merge Vicarious Visions with Blizzard.
