These games featured at PlayStation Showcase are coming to Xbox too
Including Marathon, the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake and Dragon’s Dogma 2
Microsoft has moved to inform players that a dozen of the games featured during Wednesday’s PlayStation Showcase are also coming to Xbox.
Sony’s big product showcase included plenty of new game reveals, as well as release date announcements and fresh trailers.
As is the norm for these types of events, the trailers Sony released to accompany each announcement advertised the games as coming to PlayStation systems and sometimes to PC, but omitted if they’d also be available on rival consoles.
In a tweet following the show, Microsoft made it clear that many of the games featured are multiplatform and headed to Xbox too. These include:
- Alan Wake 2
- Assassin’s Creed Mirage
- Cat Quest: Pirates of the Purribean
- Dragon’s Dogma 2
- Ghostrunner 2
- Immortals of Aveum
- Marathon
- Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater
- Neva
- Teardown
- The Plucky Squire
- The Talos Principle 2
First-party PlayStation games announced on Wednesday that look set to be exclusive to PS5 and PC include Fairgame$, an original heist IP from Haven Studios, and Concord, a PvP multiplayer first-person shooter that’s in development at Firewalk Studios.
On Wednesday, Microsoft officially lodged its appeal against the UK antitrust regulator’s decision to block its proposed acquisition of Activision Blizzard.
