The UK release date for PS5 accessories has been brought forward to November 12
Some games will also be available one week before the console’s European release
PlayStation 5 accessories will now reportedly be released on November 12, one week ahead of the console’s UK launch.
According to UK retailer Simply Games, PS5 accessories were initially due to be released alongside the console on November 19, but they’ll now arrive earlier.
It’s worth noting that retailers including Amazon and Game are still listing November 19 as the release date for PS5 accessories.
UPDATE 16/10/20: Amazon and Game are now listing November 12 as the release date for PS5 accessories including the DualSense controller.
UPDATE 15/10/20: The US release date for PS5 accessories has been brought forward to October 30, almost two weeks before the console launches.

PS5 software including Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, and Demon’s Souls will be released on November 12 in the UK. Other PS5 launch titles like Godfall and NBA 2K21 are scheduled for release on November 19.
On Friday Sony Interactive Entertainment detailed PS5’s backwards compatibility features and named ten PS4 games that will not work on the next-gen console.
It also explained how game transfers and game saves work between PS4 and PS5. Transferring PS4 saves to the PS5 version of the same game is down to individual developers, meaning the ability to do so will vary title by title.
The PlayStation 5 release date is November 12 in the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea. The rest of the world will get the console a week later on November 19.
PS5 is priced at $500/€500/£450 for the standard edition and $400/€400/£360 for the Digital Edition, with the only difference between them being the former’s inclusion of a disc drive.
