The standalone version of Spider-Man Remastered is out now for PS5
It was previously only available as part of the Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition
The standalone version of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered has finally been released for PS5.
Previously only included as part of the Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition, it’s now available on its own via the PlayStation Store priced at $49.99 / £49.99.
On Wednesday, Sony announced plans to release a standalone version of the game later this month, and it did so just a day later.
Players who own a physical or digital copy of Marvel’s Spider-Man for PS4 can upgrade to Spider-Man Remastered on PS5 for $10.
PlayStation Plus members who have claimed any edition of Spider-Man won’t be eligible for the PS5 upgrade offer.
The title is scheduled to leave the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue on May 15.
Players who own the standard edition of Miles Morales can also still pay an upgrade fee to get the Ultimate version, which includes the remaster.
A Spider-Man 2 prequel comic will be released for free in the United States on May 6, ahead of the game’s release this autumn.
It will offer a look at what Peter Parker, Miles Morales and MJ Watson have been up to since the events of Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
The comic will be available digitally worldwide at a later date through Marvel Unlimited.
