The Sims 4 has added a new Scenarios mode with goal-based challenges

A new update for The Sims 4 has added a new feature called Scenarios.

According to a new post on the official Sims 4 website, Scenarios are new self-contained storylines where the player is given a goal and has to figure out their own way to reach it.

The story will change depending on how the player completes the scenario. “There are many different outcomes to Scenarios and many different ways to achieve those outcomes,” the update says.

The update is live now and includes two scenarios at launch – Making Money and Finding Love After a Break Up.

In Making Money, players take control of a Sim who has zero money in their bank account. Players can either choose a furnished house, an unfurnished house or an empty lot and have to eventually find a way to earn a million simoleons.

In the second scenario, Finding Love After a Break Up, the player’s Sim has just broken up with their significant other, and now has to find love again.

They can do this by either trying to fall in love with someone else, or attempting to repair their broken relationship.

Each scenario has players using a different household, so it doesn’t affect their current main game. Players can also continue to play with the same household once the goal has been reached, should they become attached to their new Sims.

The other main addition to the latest update is the addition of Sims Delivery Express. This will be used in the future to let the development team add new assets, “small pockets of gameplay” or bug fixes without requiring a main Base Game update.
