The second part of Dying Light 2’s free Authority Pack DLC is out now
Headpiece, bracers and gloves complete the Peacekeepers outfit
Techland has released the second part of Dying Light 2’s first free DLC.
The Authority Pack DLC includes a new gear set being made available in three parts.
Released on Monday, the first part included a jacket, cargo pants and sneakers.
Part two completes the Peacekeepers outfit with a headpiece, bracers and gloves.
The third part will add a new weapon, which is viewable in the trailer above.
Dying Light 2 released on February 4 for PC and consoles and enjoyed an impressive Steam launch, reaching a peak of 274,983 concurrent players during its first week of availability.
Techland has committed to expanding the world of Dying Light 2 “for at least five years post launch with new stories, locations, in-game events and all the fun stuff you love”.
Earlier on Wednesday, Techland released a new Dying Light 2 update for the PC version of the game which reportedly fixes a bug that has been causing players to get stuck in an infinite death loop.
It also introduces a backup save system and adds support for the block, active landing, and jump attack keyboard rebindings.
A fix for the death loop issue on consoles is still being worked on, with a workaround set to be included in the next PlayStation and Xbox patches.
