The Pokemon Center pop-up store is returning to London this month
Fans looking to attend will have to book entry slots
The Pokemon Company today announced that the Pokemon Center pop-up store will return to London for the 2023 Pokemon Europe International Championships.
The event, which will take place in ExCeL London from April 4 to April 7, will allow attendees and members of the public to purchase a variety of premium Pokemon merchandise and exclusive International Championships products not available elsewhere.
The store will be open from 10 AM until 8 PM from Thursday, April 4 until Sunday, April 7. The store will close at 4 PM on Sunday.
The last Pokemon Center pop-up store in the UK was during the 2023 Pokemon Europe International Championships. Special merchandise featuring Eevee’s evolutions was released to huge demand during this event.
The pop-up Pokemon Center was also in London in August 2022, during the Pokemon World Championships. VGC attended the event, and while the first two days saw shelves fully stocked, as it continued some items, including the highly in-demand Pikachu plush, sold out.
The store will be open to the general public and will not require a competitor or spectator badge to enter. Entry to the store requires a reservation, even for badged attendees. Additional details on how to make a reservation for Pokémon Center will be announced closer to the event.
A note on the Play Pokemon website reads: “The Pokémon Center does not accept cash. You can pay by cash card (debit card) or most credit cards. The currency listed on goods in the store is GBP (£). To make products available to as many customers as possible, the number of some products that can be purchased may be limited.”
