The next Nintendo Direct has been confirmed for Tuesday

The 40-minute presentation will focus on Switch games coming out this year

The next Nintendo Direct live stream will take place this Tuesday, June 18, it has been announced.

The event will start at 7am PT / 10am RT / 3pm BST / 4pm CEST and last for approximately 40 minutes.

It will be focused on games set for release in the second half of 2024, Nintendo said.

The company also reiterated that “there will be no mention of the Nintendo Switch successor during this presentation.”

Nintendo recently confirmed that it will announce its next console this fiscal year, meaning the Switch’s successor will be revealed before April 2025.

In a statement published alongside its financial results last month, president Shuntaro Furukawa also said the company would hold a Nintendo Direct this June, but that the presentation would not include information on the new console.

Switch is now in its seventh year on the market, and the expectation is that Nintendo will launch a successor console early next year.
