The next Microsoft Flight Simulator will focus on ‘career aviation’
New modes will include Search and Rescue, Helicopter Cargo Transport and Skydive Aviation
Microsoft has revealed the next game in the Microsoft Flight Simulator series.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will be released next year on Xbox Series X/S and PC, and will be available on Xbox Game Pass.
The first trailer for the game was also shown, highlighting a greater emphasis on different aviation-based jobs.
The jobs shown in the trailer included:

- Remote cargo ops

When the current Microsoft Flight Simulator was first released for PC in 2020, it attracted over one million players in its first two of weeks, making it the biggest launch in the series’ history according to Microsoft.
A Flight Simulator Top Gun expansion launched last year to tie in with the release of Top Gun: Maverick, and a Dune expansion is coming in November to coincide with the release of Dune: Part Two in cinemas.
