The next free Epic Games Store title has been confirmed
Ring of Pain will replace Doom 64 and Rumbleverse – Boom Boxer Content Pack
The next free Epic Games Store title has been announced.
Ring of Pain will be free to claim from Epic’s PC marketplace from August 25 until September 1.
Publisher Humble Bundle bills it as “a roguelike card crawler where encounters come to you. Each step around the ring a dire decision. Go for the loot or backstab a creeping horror? Meet strange friends bearing gifts and treasure. Choose your gear wisely to survive and discover the secrets of the Ring of Pain.”
Ring of Pain will replace Doom 64 and the Boom Boxer Content Pack for free-to-play game Rumbleverse, which is now free to download until August 25.
The Epic Games Store gave away 89 free titles last year (down from 103 in 2020), with a combined worth of $2,120. According to Epic, users claimed over 765 million free games in 2021.
Amazon recently launched the latest batch of ‘free’ PC titles for Prime Gaming members.
Prime Gaming, which is included with an Amazon Prime subscription, offers members new PC titles to keep and exclusive in-game content each month.
August’s 2022’s free games are StarCraft: Remastered, Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders, Beasts of Maravilla Island, Recompile, ScourgeBringer and Family Mysteries: Poisonous Promises.
