The latest Mafia remake video showcases the game’s updated cut-scenes

2K has released a new Mafia: Definitive Edition video, which showcases some of the remake’s improved cut-scene sequences.

Mafia: Definitive Edition is a comprehensive remake of the original Mafia game, according to 2K, which is set to release on August 28 with an updated script, expanded backstories, and additional cutscenes.

The remake will be powered by Mafia 3’s game engine and feature new gameplay sequences and features.

Players who purchase Mafia: Trilogy digitally prior to August 28 will be able to access Mafia II: Definitive Edition and Mafia III: Definitive Edition immediately on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam, and will be able to download Mafia: Definitive Edition as soon as it becomes available.

All three games are also available for purchase individually and will be coming to the Epic Games Store and Stadia at a later date, 2K said.
