The latest Assassin’s Creed Valhalla trailer ‘hints at Eivor’s fate’
Cross-gen title set for November release
Ubisoft has released a new Assassin’s Creed Valhalla story trailer, which it says explores the fate of Viking protagonist Eivor.
Last weekend the publisher announced an Assassin’s Creed Valhalla release date of November 17, 2020 – two days before rival action RPG Cyberpunk 2077 launches. The French publisher confirmed the release date on Sunday during Ubisoft Forward, its first fully digital conference.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla Guides:
Developed by the Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin’s Creed Origins team at Ubisoft Montreal (plus 14 support studios), Valhalla features customisable protagonist Eivor, a Viking raider and clan leader.
Driven from Norway by endless wars and dwindling resources in the ninth century AD, players will lead Eivor’s clan across the North Sea to England, where its attempts to settle in a new home are met with resistance from the Saxons including King Alfred of Wessex.
