Tonight’s event is expected to include 12-15 brand new game reveals

The Game Awards 2020 will be held this evening and you’ll be able to watch all the action unfold on this page.

Tonight’s event, which will be streamed live from studios in California, London and Tokyo, begins at 3:30pm PT/6.30pm ET/11.30pm UK.

Featuring appearances by Keanu Reeves, Christopher Nolan, Gal Gadot, Tom Holland, Brie Larson, John David Washington, Reggie Fils-Aime, Nolan North, Troy Baker and more, it can be watched on multiple platforms, but we’ve chosen to embed the YouTube stream above so you can tune in live here.

The Game Awards nominees were announced in November, with The Last of Us Part 2 up for 10 prizes, Hades nominated for eight and Ghost of Tsushima up for seven.

This year’s event also introduces the innovation in accessibility award, which recognises software or hardware developers who are pushing the medium forward in terms of reach.

Producer Geoff Keighley has said he expects the show to feature 12-15 brand new game announcements.

Microsoft has a couple of “surprises” planned for The Game Awards 2020, although it has warned fans not to expect anything on the scale of last year’s announcements.

In 2019 Microsoft used the annual industry event to reveal Xbox Series X for the first time alongside Ninja Theory’s Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2.
