Almost three hours of Until Dawn gameplay has leaked online ahead of release
Sony has also published the launch trailer for the PS5 and PC remake
Almost three hours of Until Dawn footage has been published online ahead of the game’s release.
The opening hours of the title were streamed on Twitch several days before the remake is due to hit PS5 and PC on October 4.
Sony has also released the official launch trailer for the game, which is viewable below.
Until Dawn is developed by Woking, UK-based Ballistic Moon, which last month announced significant layoffs intended to “secure the future” of the studio.
Ballistic Moon was founded in 2020 by Duncan Kershaw, Neil McEwan and Chris Lamb, who all previously worked together at Supermassive Games, the developer behind 2015’s Until Dawn for PS4.
A feature film based on Until Dawn, which is being helmed by Lights Out, Annabelle: Creation and Shazam director David F. Sandberg, started shooting in August.
“I’ve been longing to do horror again after Lights Out and Annabelle: Creation, and this film explores the many great subgenres of horror to create the most terrifying experience possible,” he told The Hollywood Reporter.
“Capturing the essence of the game but with new characters, it serves as a great stand-alone introduction to the world for the newcomer as well as offers something new that the fans of the game will enjoy.”
