The first Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies trailer has been released
New details confirmed ahead of a full gameplay reveal this week
Activision has released the first trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Zombies mode.
One of the launch maps for Zombies is Terminus, a mysterious military outpost located in the Philippine Sea, where a number of former members of the CIA-led Requiem team are being held prisoner.
But when the group attempts to stage a breakout, it’s complicated by the arrival of the undead in the next chapter in the Zombies Dark Aether storyline.
Activision has released a blog post accompanying the reveal trailer, which summarises the story so far.
And it plans to fully unveil Zombies on August 8 at 8am PT / 11am ET / 4pm BST.
“Expect extensive comms direct from the Treyarch Zombies Team, including an in-depth gameplay overview, information about your pre-match preparation options, full details on Round-Based Zombies gameplay, and a bestiary of the undead,” Activision said.
Black Ops 6 will be released on October 25, 2024, for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC. As a first-party Microsoft title, Black Ops 6 will also be available on select Game Pass plans on day one.
Black Ops 6 will feature two brand-new Zombies maps at launch, plus 16 multiplayer maps, including 12 core 6v6 maps and four Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.
An in-development build of Black Ops 6 recently leaked online, revealing numerous details about the title and gameplay footage ahead of Activision’s schedule.
