The Epic Games Store’s next free titles have been revealed

The next free Epic Games Store titles have been announced.

Against All Odds, Kao the Kangaroo and Horizon Chase Turbo will be free to download from Epic’s PC marketplace from May 4-11.

They will replace outer space survival adventure game Breathedge, and poker simulation Poker Club, which are now free to claim until May 4.

Originally announced as Slaughter League before its name was changed, Against All Odds is a platformer party game in which players can create courses and compete in lethal multiplayer races.

Kao the Kangaroo is a 3D platformer in which the titular character sets off on an adventure to uncover the secrets surrounding the disappearance of his father.

Horizon Chase Turbo, which Epic also gave away last year, is a racing game inspired by classic racers from the 1980s and 90s.

The Epic Games Store gave away 99 free titles last year (up from 89 in 2021). These games had a combined worth of $2,240 and users claimed over 700 million free titles (down from 765 million in 2021), according to Epic.

The company recently suggested players should expect to see further high-profile Epic Games Store exclusives announced in the future.

Epic Games announced last week that it is to acquire Brazil-based Horizon Chase and Wonderbox studio Aquiris for an undisclosed sum.

The Aquiris team will be the foundation of the company’s first Latin America studio, Epic Games Brasil, which will work on the Fortnite series.
